Orders
We make every effort to ensure that all vinyl records and any other
products we supply are of the highest quality, reach you in the very
best condition, and are delivered promptly.
All products are boxed and brand new unless clearly stated otherwise
or would be listed as second hand. PLEASE NOTE: With
being a new business orders can only be taken over the telephone.
You may order via email by leaving details at your own risk. Once
orders are complete all information will be taken off our system
for security reasons.
Back Orders
If any goods are out of stock and a credit / debit or charge card has
been used to place the order, automatically we will make you a back order.
Once the product is back in stock with in eight weeks we will send it
out to you with no extra shipping charge. If it is after the eight week
period, we will email you with notification, that the goods are in stock
, in which time your charge for the items will have been refunded and
you will need to re-order. You may cancel your back order any time with
in the eight weeks and there will be no extra charge and no costs just
by email or phone. Please note that when cancelling a back order from
us that you receive confirmation that it is cancelled. Please note that
people who do make a back order with out payment will be contacted by
phone or email, but have no obligation to purchase the items. We DO NOT
reserve stock due to being unfair to other customers.
Credit / Debit / Charge Cards
Credit, debit and charge cards are accepted without surcharge. We reserve
the right to deliver only to the cardholders billing address. Orders
sent to a non card registered address are sent at the liability of the
customers. If requesting an alternative address please state this when
ordering. We DO NOT deliver or ship to any university addresses . The
use of stolen credit cards will result in international police notification
and court action.
Cheques
Personal and business cheques are excepted but clearance is required
prior to shipping. This can take up to 10 working days from receiving
the cheque. Please note that we only except UK cheques only. Items cannot
be reserved when waiting for cheques to be cleared. IMPORTANT: Please
make sure that your full name and address is written on the back of the
cheque.
Prices
We reserve the right to amend our prices without prior notice. Customers
will be notified of any changes in our prices before there order is despatched.
All orders are accepted subject to availability of stock at any time
of picking the order. Prices are correct on the time of publication or
upload to our website. We have the right not to supply goods until we
confirm acceptance of your order. The acknowledgement email you will
receive is not always confirmation of your order.
Purchasing goods from us
We are unable to process your order until your payment method has been
received. All credit / debit and charge cards will need proof of acceptance
and address. By submitting your order, you are offering to buy goods
and allowing us to use your personal details for the purpose of supplying
those goods. IMPORTANT: please note you will be
passing your details onto couriers and subcontractors. Personal details
will be removed from our system at the end of purchase but will only
be kept on record of receipt. No items or goods shall pass from B-I-D Records to the customer
until payment has been received in full. Customers are responsible for
the suitability of the goods they purchase. If any product supplied is
not used for its right purpose, subjected to abuse, and has had unreasonable
usage will void the warranty on the goods. Please note we DO NOT reserve
any items at any time as it is unfair to other customers.
Product Guarantees
We DO NOT supply goods or hardware on a trial basis. All hardware goods
are covered by the respected manufacturers warranties. Warranty details
and length are included with the products, usually these are with the
products and have a minimum of 12 months. Exceptions are the wear and
tear of cross faders on mixers, professional use and neglect.
Product Descriptions
Some products we sell are of a technical nature. Unfortunately it is
not practical to publish detailed specifications of all goods and maintain
up to date specifications. Drawings , photographs, descriptive matter,
specifications and advertising are for the sole purpose of providing
illustrations and approximate descriptions only. For more detailed explanation
you can contact B-I-D Records and this will be based on our own independent
product testing and is opinion only. Products we sell for manufacturers
reserve the right to amend their product specifications without prior
notice.
Shipping
All records are mailed in strong cardboard envelopes. All other orders
are shipped in appropriate packaging. We advise you to ensure somebody
is present at the delivery address since some items may need a
signature. Once goods are signed for they become your responsibility.
We reserve the right to alter the shipping option of an order in the
case of certain items not being in stock. This will only be implemented
on rare occasions to save you money on postage charges. In the unlikely
event that your order is damaged in transit, a replacement order will
be issued. If we cannot supply an identical order we will issue you with
store credit to use on a later date. If your order does not reach you
with in the seven days estimated you should email or contact us by telephone.
( This applies to UK customers only ).
Shipping Times
When orders are shipped they are handled by third party couriers, therefore
all delivery dates and times given are only estimates. We endeavour to
deliver your goods with in the estimated time of 2 to 7 working days,
however, on rare occasions the delivery maybe delayed, we CANNOT be held
responsible for delays by the courier / postal service or for any consequential
losses you may suffer if the delivery is not on time for whatever reason.
Shipping to remote locations may, on rare occasions, be slightly delayed
by the courier and postal services i.e., Christmas/ holiday seasons.
Shipping Charges
Shipping charges will be calculated on weight and mass and can be seen
on our website or by calling on the phone when ordering by traditional
mail order. If your order is returned to us undelivered due to your own
fault you will be responsible for re-shipping charges.
Cancellations
You may cancel any order before it is shipped. Once shipped, the order
is complete and cannot be cancelled . Returns Terms and conditions will
then come into affect. If you cancel by email you will have to receive
confirmation first. Your order is not cancelled until you receive this
first. The ideal way would be to cancel by telephone as they can be cancelled
instantly. |
